About Bev Morton

Over 30 Years Experience

I have been working in the Human Services area for over 30 years and in a variety of roles.
My careers have spanned from nursing to management and working across a number of sectors. I managed a drug and alcohol service and worked in the alcohol and drug sector for 15+ years.

I specialise in drug and alcohol issues, including the management and effects, both psychologically and physiologically..

I am able to work with clients who present with a range of issues such as relationship issues, anxiety/depression, grief and loss.

If I feel that a more specialised provider is in the client's best interests, I will make a recommendation for a referral to that service or specialist.

Sometimes hypnotherapy is not an option as it can be risky to do so in some circumstances involving drugs and alcohol. As a person who understands the medical complexities that may present regarding detox and withdrawal from drugs and alcohol, I will not use hypnotherapy. A complete assessment will be carried out. All best practice processes will be followed according to this assessment.

I am currently available to provide clinical supervision for those who work within the human services industry.

As a clinical member of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapist I am able to receive a provider number for some private health insurances. HBF, Medibank Private, GU Health among others. (I am not a Medicare registered provider)
